The lasts Shows of the Brandery

 

Para cerrar esta edición veraniega de The Brandery, quiero mostraros algunas imágenes de los últimos desfiles que tuve el placer de ver en directo.

To close this summer edition of The Brandery, I want to show some pictures of the last shows in the runway I had the pleasure of seeing live.

Por parte de la asociación de nuevos diseñadores pudimos observar los allí presentes algunas propuestas muy originales.

By the association of new designers, we were able to observe some very original proposals.

Eduardo Andes mostró una colección de cortes elegantes y sencillos, prendas fácilmente llevables, me pareció de las mejores la verdad, me transmitieron elegancia del siglo XXI, ya que no pecaba de demasiado clásico ni de futurista.

Eduardo Andes showed a collection of  cuts elegant and simple, easily wearable clothes, I found one of the best the truth, I was think it's twenty-first century elegance, as not sinned too much  of classical or futuristic

Laia Mauri presentó una colección de aires infantiles, prendas divertidas y en tonos claros, prendas de diario originales, las modelos desfilaron con accesorios como globos y piruletas para destacar ese aire divertido infantil.

Laia Mauri presented a collection that remeber like the kids, fun clothes and light colors, wearing original diary, the models paraded with accessories such as balloons and lollipops to highlight the amusement of children.

Mi Vestido palestino, una colección que no pasa desapercibida, diseños con mucha personalidad y sobretodo la adaptación del estampado típico del pañuelo palestino a vestidos y distintas prendas, todo un ejemplo de innovación, aunque, personalmente jamás me apunté a la moda de este tipo de pañuelos, por lo que su adaptación a otras prendas no es que me entusiasme mucho.

Mi vestido plaestino(My Dress Palestine), a collection that does not go unnoticed, designs with personality and especially the adaptation of the typical Palestinian scarf on print dresses and other clothing at all an example of innovation, but personally I never signed up for the fashion of this type of scarfs, so they are adapted to other items is not that excited me much.

Ojalá, colores vivos y formas increíbles, así se podría resumir esta colección, cargada de originalidad esta colección me ha encantado, una propuesta fresca e inspiradora digna de mención, realmente prendas fáciles de llevar, combinaciones arriesgadas sin sobrepasar en ningún momento la línea del mal gusto.

Ojalá (Hopefully), amazing colors and shapes, we can summed up this collection full of originality with this words. I loved this collection, a fresh and inspiring, really easy to wear clothing combinations risky at any time without going over the line into bad taste

M.Junco, colección de accesorios y complementos, propuestas muy originales y realmente bonitos, fáciles de combinar aportan un toque de lo más chic a cualquier outfit.

M. Junco, a collection of accessories and proposals very original and really nice, easy to combine and it bring a touch of chic to any outfit.

Jandro Villa, adoro esta colección que nos presentó, donde con una misma tela, dio todo tipo de formas a los atuendos de las modelos, una muestra de variedad sin igual, no os ha pasado alguna vez que os gusta un tejido pero no os convence el diseño que le han dado?

Jandro Villa, I love this collection that he presented, where an identical fabric, gave all sorts of ways to dress the models, a variety show like no other, you will not ever happen to you like a tissue but do not convince the design you have?

También se presentaron en un mismo desfile, prendas de diseñadores con más renombre, realmente vestidos espectaculares, para la próxima edición quizás recomendaría algunas prendas más, que a mí por lo menos me pareció bastante corto, menos marcas a mostrar y más prendas de un mismo diseñador.

Also presented in the same parade, wearing most renowned designers, dresses really spectacular for the next edition might recommend some garments, for me at least I found it quite short, fewer brands and more clothes to show the same designer.

¿Qué son exactamente las colecciones crucero?

Pese a que el nombre pueda sugerirnos que se trata o tiene algo que ver con looks navy, nada más lejos de la realidad. Las colecciones crucero vienen a ser unas colecciones de entretiempo confeccionadas a base de prendas de colecciones principales que terminan siendo cedidas a la colección crucero.

Estas colecciones enlazan la primavera con el invierno, se mantienen las tendencias invernales pero a su vez también se intuyen las tendencias venideras. Se componen de prendas sencillas, fáciles de llevar y combinar, bastante amortizables debido al gran uso que se les puede dar y a su precio algo más económico que las colecciones principales, cuentan con unos patrones mas bien sport.

Nacieron para cubrir la necesidad de la gente que en las vacaciones invernales se marchan a lugares cálidos para huir del frío, es decir básicamente gente que huye a la Riviera Maya y similares en cruceros de lujo, de ahí su nombre.

What are exactly the resort collections?

The name can suggest it’s a navy collection or similar, nothing further from reality. The resort collections really are a collection for between seasons, more exactly spring/autumn. Their composition is from clothes of the first collections that are assigned to the resort collection.

In these collections the designers keep the trends of the winter but at the same time include little new trends of the future. The clothes that compose the collections are simple, easy to wear, and redeemable because we can give many uses and the price is a little cheaper than first collections.

The resort collections were born for the people that when the winter arrive they travel to the other hottest places, for example in a Riviera Maya’s resort.

Ahora voy a comentar algunas de las colecciones crucero que han sacado las grandes casas de la moda recientemente, he seleccionado los modelito y conjuntos que más han llamado mi atención.

Now I’ll talk about some resort collections that the bigger houses of fashion just present in the runways, I have chosen the clothes that I have drawn more attention.

Algunos como Yves Saint Laurent y el alternativo Alexander Wang han optado por la supremacía de los colores primarios dentro de los estilos que caracteriza a cada marca, mientras que YSL usan prints florales y temática navy, Alexander Wang sigue fiel a su estilo innovador.

Yves Saint Laurent and Alexander Wang have chosen the supremacy of the primaries colors into their characteristic styles, the classic YSL with floral prints and the navy theme, and the alternative innovator Alexander Wang.

En Burberry, siendo fiel a su estilo british, también se decantan por colores primarios, centrándose más en el amarillo y el azul y substituyendo el rojo por un color más primario todavía, el magenta.

In Burberry, faithful to their British style, too chosen the primaries colors, focusing in the blue and yellow and changing the red for another most primary color, the magenta.

Thakoon y Marc Jacobs prefieren centrarse en prints florales y diseños más clasicos y atemporales.

Moschino y Chloe optan por unos diseños más lady like, aunque ambas colecciones son elegantes, Moschino tiene ciertas tendencias al navy mientras que Chloe explota el calzado estilo gladiador.

Y para terminar, Michael Kors, quien utiliza una tendencia de este verano como los colores flúor. Y el dorado, más propio de periodos otoñales e invernales.

And to the end, Michael Kors, who use one trend of this summer like the fluor colors. And the gold, more typical of the autumn and the winter.
